These colors should be applied to each room of the house. You want to then have a master key that shows what color is which room. You can use a yellow paper for one room, green for another and so on. Then you want to make sure that each room is labeled with the same color when you unload so that each box is placed in the room that it belongs.

You want to try and write the naming label on the box so that it can be seen from the side and not just the top. That way they can be stacked and you can still see what room and location the box belongs in.
